Well at first, I was just doing this blog because it was an assignment for school.... then I realized, why should stop writing! It's a great way to be able to talk about my life and tell about all the fun and interesting things that happen to me everyday!

I figured out that I actually do enjoy being able to write and communicate to the world somehow! It's kind of a relief to talk about things and give my perspective on the world. But thanks to the assignment that I really dreaded, I now learn that I really wanted to do this and be better at keeping track of my life! It's like a journal! So from now on, I'll do my best to write as frequently as possible!! :)

Little Tykes!

One thing you ought know about me is that I love and adore little children! I absolutely love to babysit! I actually get to do it a lot in the summer and it's such a great thing to be able to do honestly! When I grow up I would love to be a stay at home mom but still have a diploma and such. Anyway tonight I babysat my favorite kids! Zach, Grace and Clara! Zach turned eight over the summer and is in the third grade he is such a bright fun kid. He does karate and plays the piano. Grace is six years old and just started kindergarten and loves it! Her nickname is speedy G because she's such a fast little girl with so much fun energy! And lastly Clara is two! She is the cutest thing ever! she thinks it's fun to run around the house and have me chase her constantly and loves the show Mystery Town! Oh and Grace and Clara have tight curly hair which is about the most adorable thing ever!

Well tonight was so much fun with them! When I got there Clara opened the door and said BOO! Then said that I scared her! haha After Anji and Mark ( the parents) left we got them all in pi's and went downstairs to watch a video. Zach was very excited because he got his computer time! Me Grace and Clara watched a video which didn't hold there attention for very long so we got out Mouse Trap and played that instead! Grace was very serious and Clara was just goofing around! After we did that we had a tickle fight for a few minutes then I rounded them all up so they could brush teeth and pick a book we could read together before they went to bed. That took a long time so finally after reading our stories, I Grace and Zach in first then went to Clara's and tucked her in! They are such well behaved kids but so fun to be around and I really always look forward to being able to watch them! I hope my kids in the future are as good as them! :)

Sticky Situation!

Well here it goes... I play tennis and basketball for the teams at Jordan High School. Tennis I love with all my heart and I've worked my butt off this year because for the high school team. I had to step up and play 1st singles which is usually the best player on the team. During the summer I took lessons everyday and played tons! I put so much effort into it and it was a great season for me! On the other hand, basketball is very important to me too! I've been playing for such a long time and it's just something I love to do because I enjoy playing the sport, and it's not like I suck and just do it for fun, but i'm a pretty decent player and can play the game, plus the coaches like me. And you see, basketball tryouts are coming up soon and I don't know if I should play basketball or if I shouldn't! There are pros and cons to both sides! I wouldn't play basketball because I would lose the chance to work and play tennis from like November to beginning of March and that's a ton of time where i'll miss out on playing tennis and lose all that i've worked for this year and get behind of all the amazing girl's i'll have to play against next tennis season. Basketball is so time consuming but I love it. Is it worth quitting and instead play tennis all year long? I don't know!!!

Weekend Wonderland

May I begin like this......... THIS WAS THE BEST FALL BREAK OF MY LIFE.... well that about sums things up! 

As you can tell, well hopefully anyway, I had such a great fall break this week and just an altogether great week!! We got out of school on Wednesday and got the rest of the week off! And on Wednesday it was even a half day to make it all better! It was such a great way to end the stressful week of tests for me!

To start my wonderful weekend, Wednesday night I got to go to my tennis lesson at a club I go to up in Salt Lake, that was just nice cause I haven't been there for awhile cause of high school tennis which I'll gladly talk more about some other time. Then when I got home, Grifen (my lovely boyfriend) took me to dinner to this amazing Mexican restaurant called Restaurant Morelia! It is my absolute favorite place to go! And that just got my great week started!

Thursday was especially a great day! I got to go to Park City for most of the day with Mom, Sydney, Colin and Grifen. We were up there in the first place cause Colin was playing in a tennis tournament up there which he did absolutely amazing in by the way! After his match, we went out to lunch and ice cream and stopped by the Alpine Slide and Coaster! It was such a blast! I'm so happy I could have such a great day and in such a beautiful place!

Friday, was also great but not as exciting, I went back up to Park City again to watch my brother play again and unfortunately he lost but it was still a good day! We came home and ate pizza, banana splits, and watched t.v. and movies all night long with my family. To me those are the best times!

Saturday morning I slept in til about 8:30 which seems early for most teenagers but is actually sleeping in for me! haha I got up and started on my house duties that I do every Saturday! After all my chores were done, Me my mom and Grifen went to watch a good friend of ours who had a tennis match. She did great! Later that evening Grifen and I played tennis just for fun then after we hung out with his friend Brandon. We played badminton and went to a Halloween costume shop which is actually very entertaining!

And today to finish my fall break off, I went to church this morning and was with my family and Grifen all day! I couldn't ask for anything more! Every year my mom does this Halloween dinner and it's such a blast! We did that tonight because everyone was home and it was a great time to do it! I love being able to spend so much time with my family! I've enjoyed this week and am already looking forward to our next break from school! Wish me luck tomorrow!

Introducing Me!!!

Why hello there! My name is Carly Greer. Here are a few things you might want to know about me! I am a Junior this year at Jordan High school in loverly Sandy Utah! I just turned 17 about a month ago on September 2nd and i'm just 5ft tall! I am the third child of four! My family consists of my parents, Dan and Michelle, Then my oldest sister Analee and her husband Brandon. Next comes Sydney, me and my little brother Colin! Also I have a boyfriend, Grifen Barker, just this past week he turned 18 years old! it's crazy! He is such an amazing young man and i'm thankful to have his influence in my life! We've been dating each other for just over a year now and it's been amazing! I have the most amazing family, they mean oh so much to me!! My parent's are extremely wonderful and do absolutely everything for me! My dad goes to work everyday so we have money and everything we need to be happy and healthy! We have a great relationship! Well mostly we just tease each other and goof around but it's special to me! My mom is also so wonderful. I look up to her because she is such a great example to me, she is my best friend, I can go to her for anything and she will always listen. My oldest sister isn't in my picture cause she was married about a year ago and I don't have a picture with all of us! Her name is Analee and her husband is Brandon Harris, they are happily married and in love! I love them both very much and enjoy our relationships and all the fun I have with them! Sydney comes next... Sydney is a junior like me up at Utah State University, she is in the interior design program and amazingly beautiful and artsy fartsy. (which i'm not at all) But anyway, Me and Syd love each other so much and we always have fun together! We love to goof and mess around. Lastly comes Colin whom is already taller than me and i'm three years older! Colin and I love to be together and we're always the ones who will get out and run around together and I love that about us! Well that's the gist of my family! Catch up with ya later!
